Pondering my words over and again
Wishing I could unspeak them
Again and again
Same old missteps
I stumble through life
Misspeaking aloud
My private thoughts
Perhaps that’s why I prefer to write
Never hitting the “save”
Till I get it right
So easy to correct any errors I make
Hit “erase” to take them away
